ABSENCE AND LEAVE

Attendance is compulsory on the reopening days after the summer, Diwali and christmas holidays. Attendance is also compulsory on the days of important functions in the school. The Students will not be given leave for social function. Leave is allowed only in the case of sickness. When an absence in unavoidable due to illness, a leave application should be brought to the class at least by the first day when he/she comes to the class. It would be highly appreciated if you can send the leave letter well in advance. The parents should write a leave letter and mark it in the calendar.


A pupil returning to school after any contagious disease must produce a doctor’s certificate. If a student fails to submit the certificate he/she will be sent home and will be marked absent provided in the diary. Repeated absence for wedding, feasts and other social functions will not be appreciated. 

STUDY AND PROMOTION

The Student should get their progress report card signed by the parents/guardian and return them to school, within three days of its issue.

Promotion is decided on the basis of the whole year’s performance of the pupil. Unit Tests, Terminal Examination, Class Work records, Handwriting etc. will be taken into consideration.

85% attendance is compulsory for promotion,

A student who fails in a class will be given a second chance, and if he/she fails even after this second chance she will not be permitted to continue his/her studies in the school. However, the parents will properly informed regarding this matter before the final examination.

The answer papers of the tests will not be allowed to take home.

The Principal’s decision in the matter of promotion will befinal. Parents can go through the corrected answer papers of all the classes on result issuing day. Later on, the grievances will not be entertained.
